Kerbside bin collection services will recommence Friday 22 August 2014

The first area to receive collections will be suburbs scheduled for collection Wednesday. The general waste and green organics bins will be prioritised for collection. Please continue to place bins out for collection as per normal collection schedule as this will enable services to be caught up. 

21/8/2014 Additional Update: Service provided to residents to assist with disposal of accumulations of general waste

Residents who are concerned about accumulating general waste can dispose of general waste free of charge at Integrated Waste Services until normal collection services are fully reinstated.

- Cars, trailers and vans can be used to make deliveries 
- Identification required  to prove residency (driver's licence, rate's notice or rent agreement)
- General waste only
- No hard waste or recyclables
- Free residential bulk green organic waste drop off service remains operational, for details please click here

- Service available during normal operating hours

Monday to Friday: 5am -5pm
Saturday: 6am – 4pm
Sunday: 8am – 4pm

Update 21/8/14 Short term disruption to kerbside bin collection services

Council has been advised Cleanaway are hoping to have some collection vehicles on the road by midday. Residents are advised to leave their bins on the kerb as per normal and they will be picked up as soon as possible.

Short term disruption to kerbside bin collection service

In response to the Monday’s incident on the South Eastern Freeway Transpacific Cleanaway has voluntarily taken its entire fleet off the road for internal investigation. As Cleanaway collect the kerbside bins for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield this will impact upon some kerbside bin collections.

Council has been advised all vehicles are being inspected before being permitted to return to services. Please place your bins out for collection as per the standard scheduled collection day and leave out until they are collected.

Any missed services will be caught up and this may include bin collections on Saturday/Sunday if required. Please watch this space for further updates.
