The Hillcrest Community Centre was developed through a shared need for a " new home" for the North East Community House Inc, the Hillcrest Guides and the Hillcrest Senior Citizens. At the same time the Hillcrest Primary School needed a new gymnasium.

The resulting multi-purpose facility built adjacent to the Hillcrest Primary School comprises two meeting rooms, a creche and secure play area. The foyer leads to the kitchen and on to a large open Hall suitable for weddings, concerts or other large gatherings.
The Hillcrest Primary School utilises the Hall during school hours, Monday to Friday during School Term. The North East Community House Inc has a permanent office facility located at the Hillcrest Community Centre and co-ordinates a number of community programs and activities. Office hours for the North East Community House Inc are Monday to Thursday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.Telephone: (08) 8369 0329.
The Hillcrest Community Centre is both air-conditioned and heated and provides off street car parking. A Hearing Loop System operates in the Hall and the Hillcrest Community Centre is a "Deafness Friendly Location."

Come along and join in the fun on Saturday 3 November. With more than 30 stalls, a Bouncy Castle, Show Bags for the kids, Face Painting and two performances by the Amazing Drumming Monkeys!
