If you wish to report a pot hole or damage to a Council maintained road, please complete our online Request for Service and select the Works Request heading.
The City has a total of 673.7 km of local roads and 139.7 km of arterial roads.
Council maintains its road assets for the benefit of the community by reconstructing or resealing existing roads that have reached the end of their service life.
The end of a road's service life is determined by rutting, cracking, loss of shape and water ponding.

Road Maintenance
Council undertakes maintenance activities to ensure the safety of the public and to ensure that roads achieve their full design lives.
This includes the patching of potholes with bitumen to maintain the sealed surface and provide safe riding conditions.
