Council Plans and Performance
Council's approach to strategic planning and reporting is embedded in its strategic management framework. There are a number of documents that make up the structure of Port Adelaide Enfield’s Strategic Management Framework. Principal in these is the City Plan, which sets the direction for Council over a specific period of time. Council's City Plan is currently being reviewed. Please visit the Our Journey site to review progress towards City Plan goals and leave your comments about our progress since the plan was launched in 2010.

Council's performance is assessed though independent customer research and we annually monitor performance in the four key areas of Governance, Community Satisfaction, Financial and Asset Management, and Quality of Life. The Local Government Association also generates information about the performance of all Councils as part of its Comparative Performance Measurement (CPM) project.
More information about Council's performance is available from the LGA website, however direct comparison with other Councils must be treated very cautiously and is not recommended, since there are many factors which contribute to and affect a Council's individual performance.
