Last week, a Chinese film crew from the show 'Speed' hit the streets of Port Adelaide's historic precent to film stunts coordinated by legendary action producer Bruce Law (Transformers: Age of Extinction, Mission Impossible 3, Supercop) and Adelaide's 57 Films.
In addition to the 120 cast and crew who came to Australia, the show employed 50 local cast and crew. The local production of Speed will help to further strengthen our relationship with China.
15 episodes of the 32 part series were shot in South Australia over the past 3 weeks, with much of the action taking place in the City of PAE and many stunts filmed right in front of the Civic Centre! Council worked to ensure that the shoot happened without a hitch.
It was exciting to have the crew here and to get to see behind the scenes of an action shoot and we look forward to seeing our streets on show to millions of international viewers!
