As part of 2016-2017 Commonwealth Infrastructure Investment Black Spot Program, the City of PAE has received funding to undertake safety improvements at the intersection of First Avenue and Humphries Terrace, Woodville Gardens/Kilkenny.
The City of PAE has conducted this project in consultation with the City of Charles Sturt as the intersection is located at the boundary of the two council areas.
Planned works include reconstructing the existing roundabout with a slightly larger semi-mountable central island, reconstructing approaching islands, road resurfacing and installing line marking. The changes are outlined in the attached concept plan.
As part of this project, we have also engaged SA Power Networks to upgrade public lighting at the intersection to improve road and footpath safety.
Works are scheduled to commence in early April 2017. The City of PAE and the City of Charles Sturt appreciate your cooperation and patience while these important safety works are undertaken.
Should you have any questions or comments about this project, please contact Hye-Young Ghang (8405 6825, firstname.lastname@example.org, City of Port Adelaide Enfield) or Chris Bentick (8408 1297, email@example.com, City of Charles Sturt) prior to close of business on Monday 13 March 2017.
